OUR ETHOS

GIRLS THRIVE AND LEAD THE WAY HERE

We believe ages 7-11 are pivotal years for girls to develop in confidence, think independently and find their voice.

The girls here are ready to take on new challenges, and are given the opportunity to discover what they are passionate about –

completely free from judgement or stereotypes and guided by enthusiastic, compassionate teachers. Girls can be who they want to be, and we let them lead the way.

We pride ourselves on being a small, nurturing school, with a family feel that you can sense as soon as you walk through our doors. From our ‘shuffle up’ morning in June, before they officially join in September, your daughter will be welcomed and paired with a ‘Big Girl’ as part of our buddy system. Having a familiar face and someone to show them around and answer their questions will really help them settle in quickly.

Small class sizes mean that we get to know your daughter on an individual basis and support them in the right way.

Our house system builds a sense of community and belonging as the girls make friends from other year groups and take part in a range of events, all with a sense of friendly competition – from photography and music, to sport and cake decorating.

As a school that has a strong community, we invite parents to be a part of school life, and they are welcomed at various performances and Friends’ of the School events across the year.

WRAPAROUND CARE MAKES
FINDING THE BALANCE EASIER

Flexible wraparound care aims to support the family and worklife
balance, by offering supervised breakfast and after-school
clubs between 7.30am and 6pm. This does not need to be booked
in advance: your daughter can simply turn up on the day.

Please note there is a small fee of £2.50 for breakfast club.
