Visit Us
The best way to get a feel for what we offer is by visiting us in person. We hold several events throughout the year and can arrange a private tour for you too.
Taster day
Prospective students are invited to join us for a taster day to take part in lessons and see what a typical day at Redmaids' High is like.

Send in registration forms
At this stage, parents should send in completed registration forms for their daughter and pay the £75 deposit.
Candidate 1:1 interview
All prospective students are invited to attend an informal interview with our Head or Senior Deputy Head.

Entrance exam
Our Year 7 entrance exam takes place in early January.
For other groups, assessments are arranged on an individual basis.
Offers sent out
Year 7 offers are sent out at the end of January. Offers for other year groups are sent out as soon as possible following individual assessments.

Places accepted
Year 7 places are accepted by March. For other year groups, we encourage parents to accept places as soon as they are able to after the offer has been made.
Welcome days
Our Year 7 welcome day takes place towards the end of the summer term. Students joining other year groups are invited to join us for a day in the summer term to meet their new classmates.

Taster day
You will be invited to join us for a Taster Day to take part in lessons and experience what a typical day is like at our Sixth Form.

Send in registration forms
At this stage, your parents/carers should send in completed Registration Forms for you, expressing any interest in a scholarship, and a deposit of £75 will need to be paid.

Candidate 1:1 interview
You will be invited to attend an informal interview with our Senior Deputy Head. We will also receive your predicted GCSE grades and a reference from your current school.

Scholarships Assessments
If you have expressed interest in our scholarships, a member of our Admissions team will contact you about the relevant next steps.

Offers sent out
Following your 1:1 interview and information from your current school, an offer will be sent that is subject to the minimum grade requirements.

Places accepted
We encourage parents to accept places as soon as they are able to after the offer has been made.

GCSE Results are Shared
Let us know once you receive your GCSE results in August so we can confirm your place or talk about your next steps.
Redmaids’ High has been the making of our daughters. They’ve grown in confidence and in character, both of which have been developed through their school experience.
