Hello and welcome to Redmaids’ High Sixth Form

Our community has long understood how valuable and how powerful a girls’ education is and we would love for you to come and join us and be part of it.

As the oldest all-girls Sixth Form in the country, our legacy dates back centuries and it is from this established history that we have been able to draw unparalleled insight into nurturing the strengths of young women, and preparing them to be who they want to be in the world around them.

Today, we are proud to stand at an incredibly exciting juncture between such a rich past and our ambitious future, with the launch of our brand new Sixth Form.

Quite simply, our curriculum has grown; never before have we offered such a broad range of subjects that will enable you to take control and tailor your education to match your personal aspirations. Whether you’re passionate about science or sport, humanities or the arts, we have the right subjects and qualifications to help you nurture a genuine curiosity for different disciplines, and give you the knowledge and skills to fuel your ambitions.

But of course, we don’t stop there. Keenly attuned to the rapid advancements in technology, society and the world of work, we are constantly evolving to support our ongoing aim to be a Sixth Form with a global outlook. We will not only guide you through your final two years of school, but broaden your horizons and enable you to feel confident, astute and ready to step forward and make your mark.

Our pioneering Athena Development Grants are a notable extension of our commitment to supporting you. Every student in our Sixth Form has the opportunity to receive £250, designed to support a passion for learning or furthering personal development. These new grants are unique and we are proud to offer this transformative and extensive support to our students.

Whoever you want to be and whichever path you choose, I promise we will be alongside you every step of way, helping you be you and encouraging you to shape a future about which you can feel exceptionally proud and forever excited.
