The EPQ

The EPQ allows you to lead your own project, having already been taught certain 'core skills'.
‍
You will plan and carry out research on a topic that you have chosen and that is not already covered by your other qualifications.

You can use this research to produce a written report or in the case of practical projects, you can create an artefact or a production.

The EPQ is worth half an A Level and carries UCAS points for university applications.

The Lighthouse Programme

Our Lighthouse Programme has been designed to develop your personal, social and study skills so that you can feel confident living and thriving independently after school. Weekly sessions cover a vast range of topics from personal health to managing finances, and sit alongside our additional provision to support applications for post-18 study.

Volunteering

Whether it is helping elderly neighbours at our local care home or reading with our younger friend in the Junior School, together we discover that true success is measured not just by personal accomplishments, but also by the positive impact that we make on the lives of others.

Activities Afternoon

You will also enjoy a weekly Activities Afternoon which gives you the opportunity to develop your wider self. From joining netball teams, to paddle-boarding, golf or working on your own radio station, there is certainly something for everyone!
